this article:
Fruitfulness of math not an intimation of a transcendent mind!

"All we can ever know about the world is what our mind lets us know -- our perception and awareness of external reality are limited by our mind. We can never know more than the mind can assimilate and process, nor can we discuss any aspect of the world for which there is no language. The fact that our mathematical laws of nature explain the world is no miracle -- it can't be otherwise. The laws of nature describe the world we know and that world is a reflection of our thinking and our language -- of our mind."

the site is Science Frontiers: The unusual & unexplained:

Science Frontiers is the bimonthly newsletter providing digests of reports that describe scientific anomalies; that is, those observations and facts that challenge prevailing scientific paradigms.

It's a big site.
Articles spanning four decades. archaeology, astronomy, biology, geology, geophysics, mathematics, psychology, and physics.

the person behind all this is william r corliss, an american physicist and writer who has become known for his interest in collecting data regarding anomalous phenomena.

it's mentioned that corliss has been inspired by charles fort, which means, well, he has lots of company. google charles fort...
