i'm still feeling quiet and dreamy...so...

first video is gabe dixon band "all will be well"...they've been compared to dave matthews and david gray...i can hear that. it's a singer/songwriter thing. i love piano.

second video is zero 7 "somersault"...it's the lyrics that made me post...well, and i love this song. apparently the funny little dance sia and tina do in the middle of this live version has something to do with the music video that was released for this song.





today's video shout-out goes to three individuals who just happened to be there for me these last couple of nights.

i've been having a bit of a time with my two (yes, two) pre-teen daughters. i'm raising them alone and sometimes it's just damn hard. really hard. because pre-teen girls are a mess.

(i've come to the conclusion that all those stories about children being possessed by the devil (the exorcist, et al) are just allegorical references to normal pre-teen behavior. i have seen evil and i call her daughter.)

anyway. sometimes i just get to that point where i think i will fall apart. but these last couple of nights, just when i thought i was going to break, i got phone calls and emails.

i don't live in the city and money is tight and i have to be home for my kids (yeah, yeah, you get the picture) so i don't go out much ...so...yay! for emails and phone calls.

and cheers to those who talked and laughed with me.
